Oh hands, don’t fail me now.

(Or, Hank Hates You All.)

As I begin my second attempt at communicating with the World At Large from my strange Texan station, it seems a statement of purpose is in order. Though I’m roughly 1,500 miles away from home — that vague geographical moment — I mean to keep it real from afar. Two weeks & seven thousand templates later, I think I’ve arrived at a kind of beginning.

So here’s to first blog posts: To private thoughts & public displays, to love & logistics, to photos & Flickr, to Texas & texting. It’s a new world out there, it’s a new world in here, & I mean to try & connect everything as best I can without short-circuiting.

Raise your glass. You bet your ass.
